Air Forces Memorial at Cooper's Hill

On the third sunny sunday in a row I decided to visit the Air Forces Memorial at Cooper's Hill above Runnymede. It is a lovely peaceful location, with elegant architecture and has superb views from Windsor and the Chilterns in the west to London and the Shard in the east. This is one of the entrance doors and bronze lions.

The architect was Sir Edward Maufe and it was completed in 1953.
