Mod overview.....

...literally  because I was doing a television interview on the new balcony of the refurbished Queen's Hall when I spotted this scene - a choir (presumably having won one of the competitions) being photographed in front of the war memorial in Dunoon and it seemed too good a moment to miss.

Walking down to the hall to do the interview (about Brexit, inevitably) it seemed that the  streets of Dunoon were  full of kilted figures  as the annual Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail is taking place  in the town.

Kilted figures who, for the most part, were people I  knew I have to admit having had a long connection with the language including several years as Minister responsible for it, in one job or another.

(PS ; Apparently this is #Blip14 - the 14th anniversary of the start of Blipfoto.   It has gone through several incarnations but well done to the founders especially Joe , who started something many of us still greatly appreciate and value. )
