Golden days of autumn

Glorious day today. Work this morning - interesting that half of them did t turn up because their other lecture for the day was cancelled so didn’t see the point in coming in for two hours!!!

Went for a walk late afternoon and there was a hive of activity at the bottom of the village. Jay making had finished but they were harvesting beet and so tractors all over the place and the biggest heap of beets.
