This is the view from my therapist's balcony and I've never had the chance before to get out there and have a look.  That's me with my aversion to open heights out on a balcony.  With no-one holding my hand or blindfolding me.  That feels like progress of a sort.


After my session I picked up my book.  It is a substantial volume.  The chapter titles alone make me think that I will need a serious dictionary to get through it.  But I'm up for challenges, especially linguistic ones.


I have a feeling of cautious optimism today.  That is a good way to go into a weekend.
