Each little flower that opens

Crocus speciosus, bright and beautiful.  A new seedling raised from seed, seed from Gothenburg Botanic Garden, from a wild form.  Very similar to the Crocus ilgazensis I showed a few days ago, to which it is closely related.  This one has a very showy orange style.

A quiet day at home.  Jamie and I both tired after a busy half term, a successful one for Jamie on the school front.  We are delaying our planned trip to Wales until we feel brighter.
