Young Male Lesser Goldfinch

He came to our bird bath today and I was stunned by his beauty. Note the greenish-yellow colors across his back and shoulders. I like the way this camera picked up the detail in the feathers as well. Normally, feeder and bird bath shots are not my favorites, but this guy is getting the colors he needs to attract a mate in Spring - Just gorgeous!
