Brexit

Out cycling on a perfect autumn day, albeit a little cold -  forcing the longs on for the first time since April - I couldn't get Brexit out of my head. It actually seemed all very simple to me. This is one of those many problems in the world with no solution. Most problems in mathematics don't have elegant solutions. It's just something that you have to live with. Why is no politician prepared to admit that there is no Brexit solution? It's a square peg being forced through a round hole. Something has to break for it to happen. Nobody wants it to be their bit that gets broken.

I came across this piece from columnist Gary Bainbridge. Whatever side of the fence you are, even if you are sitting on it, this piece is worth reading. You'll come out with more understanding and a smile on your face, a rare thing these days. Here.
