To a musical...

Along the Thameslink first thing to meet up with Timbo and the lovely R at Caravan at the back of Kings Cross. Full of young people engaging in business meetings and eating breakfast. Didn’t look like proper work to me.
Then off to the new science gallery at London Bridge to see an exhibition on addiction, ‘Hooked’ - much artier and less scientific than I thought it might be.
Back to WHamp to Wet Fish for a bite - the serving dude was from Edinburgh and even knew H’s old boyfriend. A degree in international business and he’s making ends meet serving up eats.
So, later, the main eagerly awaited event: Hamilton at the Victoria Palace. And it’s had such rave reviews from nearly everyone that it feels a bit orf to say that it’s just very good. Some of the dancing and singing is just pure west end filler and I could totally have done without the dancing girls in their tight jodhpurs. Aaron Burr is good though and when it’s good it’s very very good. Sadly I think I agree with Quentin Letts (shudder).
