Medusa.......

In Greek mythology those who gazed upon her face would turn to stone which I think qualifies her as my MM entry - the theme being alien.  One of my daughters bought me this head many years ago and I've always been fascinated by it but who'd have thought it would come in as a subject for a blip? 

I haven't been out today as I've brought a holiday cold back home with me and I desperately want to get rid of it as soon as possible;  I'm hoping if I have no extremes of temperature this might help the situation.  Thank you Nickimags888 for. coming up with such an interesting challenge and thank you for the lovely response  to yesterday's image.
