Bagels

Next summer Ruairidh and his classmates are heading off on a whirlwind trip to New York galleries and museums (plus lots of other exciting activities) organised by the art and design department at school.

In aid of helping everyone get to New York they are busy with all sorts of fund raising activities, such as next week's craft sale in Kirkwall. Ru's got some framed prints to sell but has also organised a group to bake and sell bagels to all those hungry shoppers and provide a hint of NY atmosphere.

So today he made sure he knew exactly what he was doing and had a practice run. We, of course, had to help him out by tasting them. It's a tough life....
