Street of Gold

Had to go to the Gold Souk (yet again!) Last visit I hope this side of 2013!

Dubai really does have a street of gold and whether you like jewellery or not, it is fascinating walking through this souk and observing all the different styles, designs and the amazing things they are now doing with the metal. Today's blip is a bit more traditional. 22ct gold bangles bought mainly for Asian Weddings. I shall blip some of the more interesting designs asap.

BUSY day today with more things ticked off the list. Had a flying visit by friend Hilde who lives in Muscat. 3 more days and then I'll be freezing... yikes!
