Everyone has a font room, yes?

We've had our decorator repaint the entrance hall / atrium.  One attraction of getting someone else to do it relates to the exceedingly spiky huge cacti at the other end (i.e. behind me).

The font was carved by the then owner and rector in the late 19th century for the neighbouring church (that a previous owner built in the garden, as you do).  Technically it doesn't belong to us but to the diocese - though at 2-3 tons no-one's in any immediate hurry to move it.
