River of Flowers

Tuesday: River Seiont, Caernarfon

A very grey morning but I’d decided to go over to Caernarfon. On the way I called into Treborth Garden Centre, bought a Cranberry plant, a Black Mulberry, couple of Spirea, 2 aquatic plants and some garlic.
Caernarfon was very busy, riverside car park was almost full - our schools don’t have half term until next week but I think some England schools must be off this week.
Had a wander around town, got a couple of interesting magazines in WH Smith’s and some books & craft items in The Works, was very surprised to see a Costa Coffee shop where Ethel Austin shop used to be, bought a latté.
Felt very tired driving home, hadn’t slept well last night.
Nevertheless, I planted up the garlic (soft neck, variety is "Thermidrome" about 3 dozen), planted up a large pot of yellow tulip bulbs ("Yokohama" from Lidl) adding wallflowers. Also planted the peas for pea shoots after soaking overnight.
