TinyTuesday178 Lava jewellery

There was no time for photos yesterday, when the day was spent returning from our week in Fuerteventura.  What a lovely holiday it was, made all the better by the company  of friends that we met and made in Crete in 2013.  
Today I'm featuring some  jewellery items that caught my eye  in one of the hotel shops.  The earrings and necklace are silver with beads made from lava.  Apparently the lava is heated to a very high temperature, reduced to powder and then fashioned into the pieces to make the jewellery.
