A jewel

South Lakeland is a little jewel in the crown of Englands landscapes.
This is the Lyth Valley from the Scout Scar ridge west of Kendal. In the distance you can see some of the Fells of the Lake District.

This blip is dedicated to blippers Sheilwill and Willllwynbedw who today leave Kendal for a new life in Dumfries and Galloway. I wish them good fortune in their new adventure. This shot was taken from a place which they loved and I am sure that sometime they will return to it.
