Doorway into another world

I've had a productive day - cleaning, washing, cooking, baking and ironing! Hope tomorrow is as productive. 

I was interrupted by the little people. They were excited that I was home and wanted to show me what they've been working on. Apparently they got the door open just after I went away. (Click here for the adventure so far) They were a bit scared by what they found and wanted to wait for me to return before going through, so they built a staircase to make it easier for them to get up to the door.  I explained it looks a bit like a wormhole to another world, then I had to explain what that was. They are now gathering the equipment they need to venture through.
