Making friends

With the new ladies in the herd. This is Duchess. As I was strolling past her I could see she wanted to connect. So I stood side on and put out my arm slowly she walked in to sniff and then lick me. Animal behaviour and body language is so amazing to understand. The shyest of the new ones also made a wee connection with me but at distance. 

This morning I finished a unit of my k9 nutrition diploma then this afternoon it was gathering and stacking firewood now we have the new stores to fill.
