Wanderings & Witterings

The weather for today's Ramblers' walk wasn't quite as sunny as it had been on Monday when I did the recce. However, it stayed dry and, although there was a bit of a stiff breeze at times, it wasn't too cold. The sun even burst through on occasions.

We had a good turnout - 20 of us - and, as well as a good autumn walk, enjoyed lunch in Craigie's Farm & Deli and a post-ramble coffee at New Hopetoun Garden Centre. The leader (me!) only managed to take the wrong path once, which meant a wee scramble through the leaves and a low fence to cross when leaving Craigie Wood. Should have stuck to the path I used on the recce rather than trying to be clever!
