....and waiting.  The 24th marked the end of Thai Lent and the beginning of winter.  Winter here means the end of the rainy season, and it went out with lights and lots of noise, followed by rain. 

We, well Hubby, spent quite a lot of the day fighting Australian bureaucracy in the form of the NSW Revenue Department.  Voting in Australia is compulsory.  However, as we no longer reside in Australia it should no longer apply to us.  We use my daughters address for the one bank account we have in Australia.  You can imagine our surprise when she informed us that she had recieved a letter advising that we were being fined for not voting in a 2017 local election.  No not in her area, but in the part Sydney that we used to live in.  Anyway we have appealed and hopefully we have now been taken off all voting registers.
