Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal launches today

A very leisurely start this morning ...... no dogs to walk as Poppy and Mia are away on holiday. I even had time to walk down to the bank for some change before L and I head off to the Hobbycraft event in the Exhibition Centre.

When I took Togbe out for a walk on Monday morning I noticed this poppy growing in a local garden .... at that time it was far too dark for a photo so I put it on the back burner for a day or two.

As the Royal British Legion launches its Poppy Appeal today it seems appropriate to take the photo today ..... I don't think it will survive till Remembrance Sunday.
