Desperate

Sorry, this is the best I could do today. Not even an exciting story relating to the presence of the police car outside the newly refurbished cafe near our house. Its previous incarnation was "The Clock" but we never went. Before then, as the "Peni-Deli" we went numerous times when the kids were small.

At work I submitted a proposal for a week-long "coding sprint" in Minneapolis in the spring to be attended by me and my two PhD students (and others), and I spent a pleasant afternoon with И, as she helped me check my changes to our paper against the corrections required by the reviewers.
