Olympic National Park

Today I drove to Sol Duc falls (see extra) in the Olympic National Park and did a long hike up to the "High Divide" and around the Seven Lakes Basin loop. Thus took me past beautiful lakes, more enormous trees and up into the new season's snow (see extras). There was also a view of Mount Olympus itself. At 2400m - only 800m higher than I got - it is heavily glaciated. It was tough going, but we'll worth the effort!
