Streetcar named ....

Tino and I grilled today by Guy wearing as ever a suit with cowboy boots, the International Divison President and his sidekick accounts director Walt Bianchi (who I still have contact with in 2018 if anyone looking to finance a Jacksonville, Florida home or visit his Gusto Italian restaurant on the beach there).

Budget is done and signed off. A tough year ahead but we were up to it.

And so time to celebrate and took along the rest for the ride. Starting off with the spectacular Hyde/Powell cable car ride down to the famous Buena Vista Coffee Bar and it's legendary Irish Coffees, The photo top left is not a cable car but I can't find a still photo I took of one. I guess hanging on for dear life as we careered down the steep hills with the female conductor fighting with the rear brakes. A year later the first female "Gripman" driver, Fannie Mae Barnes, was appointed and I suspect she was our conductor.

We were in the bar for hours and by the time we eventually walked to the also legendary Scoma's Fish Restaurant on Pier 47 aka Scoma's Pier where Tino had reserved us a table (reservation mandatory). Not sure how we then managed to ascend the stairs to a first-floor bar close by on the wharf. By that time nobody was capable of taking a photo and how we got home has been lost in the mists of time and alcohol.

Thanks to Angie who was with us for taking the photos - none of us were capable.
