At the moment I'm not the most patient of people.

I get infuriated by bad technology.  Technology that has been deliberately designed to be that bad.

If you want to copy a picture from your iPad to your PC.  It is quicker to send yourself an E-Mail with the Foto attached.  Otherwise you have to:
install iTunes on your PC
connect your iPad to iTunes on your PC
do you trust this PC?
Don't forget your iTunes account password
then open Microsoft's Foto app
then in the top right click on import
Yes from USB device
What do you mean you can't find any fotos on my iPad?
disconnect your iPad from your PC
reconnect your iPad to your PC
then in the top right click on import again
Yes from USB device again
What do you mean you can't find any fotos on my iPad again?
disconnect your iPad from your PC again
reconnect your iPad to your PC again
then in the top right click on import again
Yes from USB device again
Oh you found the Foto this time, aren't you the cleverest little thing?
Yes select that
Yes import that.

That's is so much easier than:
connect your iPad to your PC
Open Windows explorer
Find iPad
Find Fotos folder on your iPad
Copy picture to PC

And obviously only an idiot would want to do it the second way.

I mean who needs less stress in their life???

Me actually.    Or at least I need to know better ways of dealing with it....

A much happier note to end on now.

The extra for today is a letter that I received today, an invitation to go collect my "He's officially ein Deutscher now" Certificate.

I quite like the coincidence that the date they've chosen is what would have been my mum's 78th birthday.
