The Waterboys

The top picture shows Chancer who, despite having an indoor litter tray and thousands of acres of mountain scrub, likes to take his morning relief in a compost filled earthenware plant-pot that is awaiting new shrubs. The bottom picture, taken 2 minutes later, shows Charlie who, despite having water bowls placed strategically around the house, prefers to drink "au natural" rainwater from the adjacent empty plant-pot. (When he's not doing this he likes to drink from a runnng tap). They appear to have some unwritten agreement that prevents a seriously disturbing hygiene issue from ever arising.
