Dedication of Armadale War Memorial.

Invited to attend the Dedication of the Armadale War Memorial today. Sculpture by Alan Beattie Herriot. I had visualised the design in three dimensions and had determined the exact size and shapes of all the plinths and “standing stones”.
Simple and moving ceremony with the whole community of Armadale represented. Fantastic effort by all involved.
