Sunset In The Southern Sky

Check out the back blip I posted for yesterday.

This was the view looking south, always towards Mexico when I look in that direction. I've never seen the color between the peaks of Mt. Whitson and Mt. Hopkins.

These two peaks are the highest in the Santa Rita range with Mt. Whitson, left, the higher of the two. I intentionally did not capture the peaks in order to focus on the color.

I seem to keep capturing the end of the color, but this time I don't think it was really exceptionally intense. Just kind of pastel, which is just fine by me for a change.
