A blanket for the Ben

When I woke up it was -1.5 degrees and the decking had a layer of ice covering it,It was not long before flurries of snow started to fall and the garden and surroundings turned white. We should not be surprised , it’s not unusual to have snow in October but I’m not ready for an icy chill yet !
We went to Inverness in the afternoon to get some Rock salt and to Morrison’s for a shop as we had a voucher that needed using today.
We stopped off at Merkinch and I sat on the bench for a while admiring the view. The Ben has a nice coating and all the colours were amazing. A nice chat with an older gentleman who was passing by.
We then went for a walk in Whin Park. The reflections in the pond were looking good.People were busy on Ness Islands getting ready for the Halloween event for the next couple of nights.I spotted a ghost ;)
On to capture the old factory before they are demolished next week. An ugly building so it will not be missed.
A change in the weather as showers crept in but a calm , very blue sea at the harbour with silvery light towards Avoch.
Mike was out in the evening so I put my feet up and enjoyed Strictly :) Darcy was very critical tonight !
