A day at sea

On a “sea day” I love to sit and watch the waves, binoculars to hand, and think. I love sea days. I don’t get bored. It’s truly relaxing - for me.

I’m not a sunbather. Significant numbers of passengers head for the sunbeds (often book or kindle in hand).

There’s lots to do - whatever your taste.
Today you could head for a fruit carving demonstration.
You could go to a “Comedy Cabaret” ( I overheard a bit on my way past and it sounded very amusing.)

But I was heading for a lecture on “The Invasion of the Nile Delta by the Sea Peoples.” It was excellent.

Big ships have Casinos, climbing walls etc etc.
And big elaborate shows based on West End musicals.

This is why it’s important to work out what you want from a cruise - and we’re all different.

For today’s blip, I popped into the Library....jigsaws, chess........
