At first glance I wondered if this was vegetable or animal, but what a glossy red!

Mary and I spent a really enjoyable couple of hours at The Tower Climbing Centre this afternoon.  The short walls in the smaller room are very interesting, with cracks, pockets and flakes - much more like real rock... I suppose my usual climbing walls just have the usual holds and not much else.  I think my hands and forearms are going to be a bit sore tomorrow, but we're getting stronger!
