I met up with Matt and Anthony, both MCI trainees, this morning and they decided to take me scrambling up Milestone Gully. 

It was really good fun, with some bits that were definitely more on the climbing side of scrambling :-)

We reached Tryfan North Ridge and the plan was to head upwards to the North Tower and then (I think) descend via a gully on the western side. But my legs didn't want to go any faster, it was already half two and it was thankfully decided to turn around and descend via the North Ridge.

I took them for coffee and cake at the Moel Siabod Café as a thank you for a grand day out!
