Quiet

It is still low season in Chiang Mia and everwhere is very quiet.  However, when we arrived at the Burmese Restaurant we were shocked to find that all the tables inside were full and we had to sit in the almost outside area.  It is very noisy here as traffic noise is not shielded.  Funny thing is that the last few times we have been it has been so quiet and we would joke with the owner thanking him for saving us a table even though we hadn't booked.  Maybe in the future we will have to book.

Well we had some excitement at our complex yesterday.  A resident was taken away by the immigration police for not having a visa.  He was also involved in working as an agent collecting rent and organising condos for people.   It seems that he was collecting rents but not sending the money to the owners, he was possibly saying that the condos were empty.  I think a lot of people are going to be asking where their money has gone.  The fall out could lead to further charges.
