Tiny Tuesday: Stamen

It was cold first thing this morning, the coldest it has been so far this Autumn. Not only were the garden and cars covered in white frost but the pond surface was frozen as well.  When I nipped out to take this shot of the vibrant alstroemeria before starting work the flower was starting to recover from its frosting - they have some stamina that's for sure. I'm not sure that they are going to last for much longer though.
