Guardian of the pumpkins!

Today I went to Shrewsbury. When I went down Wyle Cop a lot of the the shop windows and other buildings were decorated for the street's Halloween pumpkin competition. They were all very good but this one (The Nag's Head Pub) was the winner and my favourite too. The Pumpkins had been expertly carved and had this ghostly lady watching over them. I was lucky that the timber framed building opposite made a good reflection in the window too.  I think that the heads in the window were real as opposed to spooky apparitions though!

My journey home on the bus was a long one. The forty minute journey took an hour and a half as the A5 was just a line of stationary traffic for the last few miles. Eventually we started creeping long until we came to the problem - a trailer had lost it's load of hay bales. When we got there they were loading them back on but one road was closed and traffic diverted. I was glad to get home!
