The View
Day 2.
My room is right next to the building site. They start working early there. Loudly too.
I survived my first day and night. They woke me up every 2 hours through the night to measure my pulse & blood pressure. I've had all sorts of tests today. And I'm just about to take part in something called "Movement Therapy". I have no idea either.
We also have two sessions per day where we're expected to join in a communal discussion about what we will do, and what we've done.
It is really not my thing at all. But showing willing and all that.
Provided I do not flip out, I may only be here for a matter of days and not weeks as I had feared.
I have an advantage in that I already have a therapist, and the therapists here are somewhat overstretched.
We'll see what happens.
Movement therapy turned out to be 3 table tennis tables. I asked if I could go for a walk instead. Turns out, it's allowed. So I had an hour alone this morning, and then another walk where I went home to pick up a few things. Nice to surprise G as well.
