Constant Incoming

My office is relatively near Frankfurt am Main Airport and, luckily, we're not under the direct flight path but there are hundreds of airplanes flying past my window every day.

I took this Blip in the knowledge that I would have Something to blip later because my work day was shaping up to be a corker.  And so it proved.  

So deep in computer code - change this, change that, test, nope,change this, change that, test, change this, change that, test. And repeat over and over.  

And then a Moment Of Triumph.  

That felt SO good.

Completely nerdy.  But I now have something really useful to offer the development team I support.

And so much for leaving the office early...

Cultural Information Spot.  Today is der Reformationstag in Germany and the following Regions/City States have today off:

Tomorrow is  Allerheiligen and the following states have that as a Holiday:

Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW)
Rheinland-Pfalz
Saarland

I live in Hessen and I have neither of these days off (neither do the people in Berlin).  And I could really do with a holiday.
