Yay Friday - Time To Clean Between Your Toes

It's what all the young things do.  Probably not though.

I was really glad it was Friday but today is the day before a major implementation for my company.  That means telephone calls from people who haven't understood lots of things.  

An error message that says "You can't move this file from directory A to directory B if the file doesn't exist in Directory A" is apparently an error in 
the software that I'm responsible for.  

Similarly an error message that says "You can't do Operation B if you haven't done Operation A first" is also an error that I probably built in deliberately.

I should know that I'm responsible for miracles as well.

I'm on call from 5 tomorrow morning.  I need the sleep & I do hope no-one calls but my hopes are not high.

Oh and because today is a holiday in Rheinland-Pfalz but not here,  millions of people come to Wiesbaden to go shopping.  This annual event is always a surprise to my bus company.  My journey home was enlivened by an empty bus turning up at my bus stop at the right time but the driver refused to open the doors and then drove off with no-one on board.  Thankfully another bus turned up not too long after and the journey home was only twice as long as normal.  I'd say they hit all of their customer service targets there.
