Survived

This rose seems to be the only flower to have survived last night's frost, yesterday’s geranium looks very sorry for itself this morning. 
It's beautifully sunny, bright and fresh now. Perfect. 
The little fly was soaking up a few rays.


Extra. I have added as an extra a rather spooky halloween ghostly image of a bird which just flew into our kitchen window with a loud thud. There is no sign of it however so it has survived and flown away, and I don't know what it was.
