Wimbledon Park: Shield Bug on Passiflora

Pretty patterns and shapes in large.

There are lots of houses decorated for Halloween (apparently fake webs are all the rage...), so I took some Halloween-y shots, and followed that train of thought for quite a while. BUT then I found lots of adorable shield bug nymphs on the interesting leaves, tendrils, buds, and fruits of a passion flower...

Halloween and hymenopterans here (or right from Halloween berries)
