Winterwonderland Lights

So we arrived (fully packed in less than two hours) at Center Parcs and headed for the pool. Nanna joined us and the kids had a good time, without Mummy and Dady getting too wet. Carys met her best friend Isla, for the first time of many over the weekend, plus many other William Ransom families having a long weekend.

Once we went and found our house we unpacked and then headed back to the Village for a meal at Hucks. For some reason known only to himself William went into melt down. He didn't eat a single thing and threw himself on the floor a number of times. After a couple of warnings/choices and being taken outside once for a talking to I eventually had enough and picked him up and carried him home to bed. He was obviously so tired that he was asleep within minutes, sobbing in his sleep as he does when he goes to sllep crying.

Everyone else came home and C went to bed then we settled down to watch TV. W then woke, hungry (suprise, suprise) about 90mins later. So what options did I have? Keep him in his room, crying and hungry for the rest of the night, or bring him out and give him something to eat. At home the situation is simple, I would bring him downsatairs, lights would be dimmed, TV off and he would eat some food then be taken back to bed. However we weren't at home, so the telly and lights stayed on, until I finally asked Jim to turn the telly off as W wasn't eating just trying to watch the telly.Once the telly was off and the food eaten he went backto bed and slept well, for William. He certainly knows what he did was not acceptable as a number of times he has mentioned to me that he was silly and got taken home without eating and he won't grow big and strong if he doesn't eat!
