...in a slightly dried format

as a rose - or any flower for that matter - begins to die - it starts to dry out - wither within itself and its petals - as it does so - its colors deepen - become richer, more saturated - the petals typically fall just a bit - more open revealing a vulnerability of - their inner selves to the world - it's a lovely process to observe - this drying effect

this particular rose happens to be - one of the loveliest i have seen - in the this stage - in all of my time handling flowers - the way in which it has dropped its petals - is bringing joy to my heart - and that in turn is leading to...
