Iconic New Zealand . . . Cabbage tree ti Kouka

There are several cabbage trees on my small section.  They make a screen between us and one neighbour.  They are all displaying these big white flowers.  I have seen a tui in one briefly and I suppose it was inspecting the nectar.  The flowers will turn into berries and be food for native birds.  I liked the way the sword like leaves where pointing to the clear blue sky.
The extra is the roses I picked this morning.  It gives me great joy to pick flowers from my garden.
