The Birthday girl

We had the family gathering for a late lunch today to celebrate my mum's "0" birthday on Wednesday.  It will be Poppy's birthday too.  But I digress.  It is not the clearest of photos of the cake but a rather nice shot of my mum (she will hate it) so that it what is going to be blipped.   I know some of you on Facebook have seen a slightly more focused shot of the cake.  One of my nephews ate all of the rose decoration on his piece - it's a wonder he is not in diabetic shock with all that sugar.

It was a very pleasant afternoon and just what she wanted.
