HURRICAN OSCAR.

Woke this morning to shouts "come and look at this" from Mr A.  Looking out of our bedroom door the horizon looked like a forthcoming Tsunami.

The whole of the sea was one giant wave over 20ft high.  We looked through the binoculars and it was amazing.  By the time we had breakfast etc. and walked down to the beach it was still a boiling sea but had calmed down somewhat.

So pleased no one was trying to surf but I expect their were mad idiots in Newquay.  They call it the Cribbar down here and we do have brilliant surfers.  But of course at the moment no Lifeguards as it is out of season.

The rest of the day has been very wet and we were glad we managed to walk them both before the heavens opened.

After cutting glass for a new project and crocheting to finish a matinee jacket with bonnet and bootees, was glad to sit and watch the TV.

Another week approaches, one nearer our concert and just hope we can sell lots of tickets to make some money for the Crantock Christmas lights appeal.

Hope you have all had a good weekend and I wish you all a wonderful happy, healthy week ahead.  Sending hugs. xxxxx
