If you can't beat them...

Wolseley Centre

We decided to have the morning around Great Haywood area before setting off back home.  We started by trying to find a cafe we often see beside one of the locks.  By road we found this impossible so spotting the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Wolseley Centre we went there for a walk.

The paths through the woods were interesting with various carvings and displays.  This one particularly struck me.  It has at one time been a very large tree.  It is now covered with carving s of natural things animals plants etc.   What struck me was the fact in most carvings you can generally say " that's a fish" etc but on this you can clearly tell the Otter is chasing a Trout and there is a perch above.

After coffee at the next door garden centre we returned to the caravan for lunch.  Then the run back up the motorway was surprisingly trouble free apart from the 20 or so miles of 50 mph restrictions.
