Signs of things to come.

Purely for my own record, this shot is of the emerging flower spike on my pink Phalaenopsis.   At the end of July the last spike was in full flower with flowers nearly four inches across.  Unfortunately I hadn't the sense to record when it stopped flowers.

Now there is a new spike I am aiming to try to keep a record of how long it flowers for and how many flowers it produces.
