Sign of the Times.

Midlothian Cooncil is not the quickest off the mark when it comes to road maintenance. Since about the same time that this work allegedly started, I have been sporadically complaining about dangerous potholes in the main road (A702) to no effect. About 5 years ago, I raised such a stink that my picture was in the local paper with an accompanying article and a photo of a pothole. A councillor was asked for comment and said that I should write to him about it – he was completely ignoring the existence of several letters from me, in his in-tray, awaiting his attention
 
In the meantime, I assume that the neighbourhood is keeping an eye on progress at Sheilburn Bridge.
