OWL IN SABABURG PARK

A radiant day again after the mist lifted from the river.
The perfect day to drive to the Sababurg park in the Reinhardswald, near Gottsbueren.
It really had been a long time ago since we had visited the park.
Normally the Greifvogelschau (bird of prey show) has an end in October, but it has been continued in November. So after visiting the penguins, the wild boars with babies, the deer, the lynx (two of them), the ibex, and many many more animals, we skipped the wolves and went to the place where the birds of prey live.
The owls, the falcon, the kites, and the  eagle flew from one pole to another. I sat at a strategic place, and two times the ends of the wings of the eagle touched my camera in his/her flight.
The drive to and from Gottsbueren goes through the forest, and we had marvellous views of the coloured leaves of the trees. We can't remember the last time we had such a beautiful autumn, and it has not ended yet.

For this week I finally will give again silly hearts tonight to dollydoug, Lsquare, pkln, hinden, and rmeinz.

My entry for the Wild Wednesday Challenge shows the owl at the show.
Huge thanks to Cailleach for hosting.
