Through dirty windows

It was raining when I left home to cycle to work (thank heaven for decent waterproofs!)

It was raining even more heavily at lunchtime, so I sat in the canteen and saw some SkyNews with the sound off and their irritatingly scrolling one-item-headline.

But after lunch a rainbow appeared and an impressive amount of rain left next-door's roof in a manner I can only think of as poorly-designed.
It was raining still when I cycled home, but not so heavily.

Happily, the little reading light I ordered a day or two ago arrived this afternoon, and is just the job.

Equally happily, it appears that the previous occupant of this flat has not cancelled his subscription to a specialist cycling mini-catalogue, so tonight I shall lie in my little cot, listening to pigeons gently cooing above me, happily in the dry whilst perusing options of enhanced cycling attire with the help of a little reading light.
