Enjoying The Sun

This adorable little fox spent at least an hour enjoying the sunshine in my neighbour’s garden. They say he’s there a lot and isn’t bothered by them being home.

Sadly I noticed he was constantly scratching and when he turned around I could see his tail was almost bald and he had some sores. Poor thing.

I took a walk with a friend in need of a chat this afternoon. When you hear someone else’s problems, it’s funny how your own seem to diminish. I’m sure the rusty golden leaves of Autumn, the sunlight through the boughs and the fungi finds helped raise spirits too.
